NBN are now commencing Fixed Wireless network enhancements designed to give more homes and businesses in Central Queensland access to better broadband.
Fixed Wireless will become more widely available to eligible homes and businesses currently on Satellite services, with more locations to become eligible in the future. This will expand the fixed wireless network footprint by up to 50%.
Once an upgrade in your area is complete, you can expect faster download speeds during the busy period in upgraded areas. There’s nothing you need to do to access the enhancements to the network if you’re connected to our Launchpad Wireless plan.
Whilst upgrades are occurring, you may experience some periods of outage as tower climbing and equipment maintenance is required. We will let you know in advance via email when this happening in your area.
